Frequently Asked Questions

The extension supports 21 Amazon™ regional domains: .com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .it, .es, .co.jp, .ca, .com.au, .in, .com.br, .nl, .se, .pl, .sg, .com.mx, .ae, .sa, .com.tr, .eg, and .com.be. Spending is aggregated by currency when you shop across multiple sites.
All data is stored locally in Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local). Nothing is ever sent to any external server. Order amounts are cached for 24 hours to keep the extension fast and avoid repeated scraping.
Data refreshes automatically every 24 hours. You can also force a manual refresh by clicking the refresh icon on any time range in the popup widget, or refresh all ranges at once using the button in the header.
The Lock is active during the hours you choose (e.g., 9 AM to 5 PM) and has two modes. Normal, the default, keeps Amazon™ fully usable but blocks checkout: Buy Now, 1-Click, Proceed to checkout and Place your order show a SpendGuard notice with how much you've already spent, while Add to cart keeps working. Hard blocks Amazon™ entirely: a full-screen overlay replaces the page with a countdown timer showing when access resumes. By default you can still turn the lock off during the lock hours from the SpendGuard widget. Disable "Allow turning off while locked" and the lock settings stay frozen until the lock ends, so you can't cheat your way around it.
Yes. The extension reads your order history directly from Amazon™'s order pages, which includes all orders, Prime, standard, digital, and physical. Any order that appears in your Amazon™ order history will be tracked.
